Port & Embarkation

Embarkation Information: 

Jam Cruise 15 departs from PortMiami in Miami, FL. 

Check-in will begin at 11:00 AM on January 20th, 2017. 

Check-in will close at 3:30 PM.

You MUST be on the ship no later than 4:00 PM or risk being denied boarding.  We set sail at 6:00 PM. NO EXCEPTIONS!

Disembarkation Information: 

Jam Cruise 15 returns to PortMiami in Miami, FL. 

Disembarkation is scheduled to begin at 8:00 AM on January 25th, 2017.

Please note when booking your flight out of Miami, NCL recommends choosing flights that depart after 12:30 PM. If flying from Fort Lauderdale, NCL recommends choosing flights that depart after 1:30 PM. Jam Cruise 15, LLC and Norwegian Cruise Line are not responsible for any missed flights. Book at your own discretion.


Zero Tolerance Policy:

Jam Cruise has a strict zero tolerance policy. You will be embarking Jam Cruise in PortMiami and passing through security run by Customs and Border Protection, a division of Homeland Security. Your person and your luggage can and will be searched. Forget about your right to privacy, you are passing through a port where all local and federal laws apply and are strictly enforced. Every person and each piece of luggage will be inspected by dogs trained to detect explosives and contraband. Anyone found to be violating the law and/or in possession of illegal substances or prohibited items (weapons, illegal controlled substances, etc) will be arrested and banned from all future events. Getting to PortMiami:

PortMiami is easily accessible by car or taxi from Miami International Airport. Other ground transportation options like shuttles and limousines are also available.

Taxis are available at all cruise terminals. The fare between the Miami International Airport and PortMiami is currently a flat rate of $24. For other destinations, the cab fare is $2.40 upon entering the taxi and $2.40 per mile thereafter (these rates are subject to change).


If using a GPS device, enter 1015 N. America Way, Miami, Florida 33132 as the address of your destination. Once at the Port's bridge, turn off your GPS, stay in the left lane, and follow the signs to designated terminal.

From the North: Take I-95 South and exit 3B-Bayside. Head south to Northeast 5th Street and turn left. Fifth Street will lead onto the PortMiami bridge. Continue over the bridge and follow signage to designated terminal.

From the South: Take I-95 North and exit at Northwest 2nd Street. Head straight to NW 5th Street and make a right. Fifth Street will lead onto the PortMiami bridge. Continue over the bridge and follow signage to designated terminal.


Parking at PortMiami:

Parking is conveniently available at all cruise terminals. Designated disabled permit parking spaces are available in each garage. Spaces are also available for oversized vehicles (oversized vans, recreational vehicles and vehicles with trailers) at special rates. All facilities are patrolled by security. Oversized vehicles may only park in Lot #2, across from Cruise Terminal E.

Parking Rates

  • Overnight Parking: $20
  • Short-term Parking: $7
  • Vehicles longer than 20 feet: An additional $20 per day


All of the garages and Lot E accept cash, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, or any major U.S. Traveler's Check. No debit cards are accepted.

Potential Cruise Surcharges:

**In the event that the cost of fuel increases between now and the time Jam Cruise 15 sails, a fuel surcharge will be imposed onto Jam Cruise 15, LLC from Norwegian Cruise Line. The fuel surcharge will be added to each passenger, not to exceed $30 per passenger. The surcharge will be applied to the passenger's cabin costs and must be paid in full by January 20, 2017 in order to board the ship for Jam Cruise 15. All passengers will be notified via email if such a fuel surcharge will be added to the cost of the cabin. If such a fee is imposed, the credit card on file for the primary guest will be charged.
